This project is a good thing for a variety of reasons,
but
SWMBO is right:
I am not
a natural photographer.

Fascinating list of cognitive biases at Wikipedia.

I was led to the list from this article on the "Just-World" phenomenon.

This past weekend:

Did Earth Day at North Mountain Park with Marissa and K. Got pretty sunburned!

Later had lunch outside @ Coop, with some high-school age
girls (cello, guitar, synth, violin) playing covers from the
White Album. They were good, we three enjoyed it.

Dinner at Deeps, turns out M doesn't much like Indian food.

"Homo Sapiens are what they call us."

Interview of Rootsman by Eugene Hutz of Gogol Bordello.

BoingBoing points to Skulls Unlimited, purveyor of human and animal skulls.

By far the coolest, though, is the carrying case:

These used cases are in fair to good condition and quite capable of storing skeletal specimens at a fraction
of the cost of a new case. human Jaw pictured is for size reference only and is not included with case.
Catalog Number: WSLQ-076 Price: $49.00

Saw the newish DVD of The Thief Lord last night.

It wasn't any good. They elided all the character development,
and the soundtrack was laughably ham-handed.

Oh well. Still a fun and charming book.

Clare forwarded an email to me from mom that dad has been admitted
to St. Lukes with
congestive heart failure.

Followed with emails downplaying the gravity
so I called him, long overdue,
and had a good chat.

He wanted to talk about books, and my job sitch.

Also said that Shannon is going
to be baptized
in a deerskin "indian costume". He's not happy
about that.

He sounded much better that January,
normal, in fact.

Hopes to get sprung soon.

Started doing IT at the Co-Op today,
